We are seeking a Sustainability Officer with experience in providing strategic support to voluntary and community sector organisations in order to increase their resilience and sustainability.

A series of exciting training and events coming up in the next month to support groups looking for or managing community premises.
A FREE members’ event helping bridge the gap between funders and and the organisations they fund, through information, debate and discussion on key funding issues.
Southwark Council invites registered voluntary organisations based in the London Borough of Southwark that provide services for Southwark residents to apply for inclusion on the Southwark Approved List.
Healthwatch Southwark is the new health and social care consumer champion. Find out more about how CAS and its partners are developing this new and influential body.
Our one – to – one support is now available in all parts of the borough: in Camberwell, Bermondsey/Rotherhithe, Blackfriars, Peckham, Dulwich/Crystal Palace. Check out the dates for 2013.

The funding world can be a complicated one: grants, loans, gifts, gift aid, restricted, unrestricted, crowdfunding, events, who to apply to, for how much, jargon, what are funders looking for... This special Members' Day aims to support our members to find out more about what funding is available, who from and how to get it.
Come along to learn about the council's new Children and Young People's Plan, hear the latest policy developments from voluntary sector Reps and connect with other organisations supporting children and families in Southwark.
An opportunity to get to grips with your lease, get to know the law around leases, your rights and obligations as tenants and how to make savings on the costs of occupying commercial property.
Through the use of storytelling techniques the session aims to show how different formats can reach different audiences and how the way you tell others about your organisation, its impact and what you do can affect the response.
Research, particularly for development workers, can be a tricky concept: it refers to a wide range of activities and as development workers, we may not be experienced in research, yet expected to manage and carry out the research, alongside your 'day-job'.
