On 26 June Southwark Council launched Phase 2 of its Positive Futures Fund for 2019 to 2022.
The Council recognises the detrimental impact that serious youth violence has on our communities and is committed to work with communities to find local solutions that help young people stay away from knives.
In this second phase the Council is seeking to invest £350,000 to support community groups that provide inspiring opportunities for young people across the borough that divert them away from crime. Young People will be at the heart of the programme. All applications to the fund should be co-designed with young people.
Young people, are you aged 25 and under? - Do you have an inspiring, innovative or creative idea and want to develop this further? If so, this is your opportunity to apply NOW!
