Adult Independence and Wellbeing subgroup

Southwark Adult Independence and Wellbeing subgroup is a quarterly meeting for organisations focusing on issues relating to adults services.  At these meetings, organisations discuss relevant issues, collaborate and identify creative solutions particular to their part of the sector. Examples might include a consortium bid for a contract or lobbying for change on a particular theme.

The subgroups are chaired by a nominated member of the local voluntary and community sector. The chair of Adults subgroup is Andrew Rice of the Southwark Disability Forum. Find out more about the knowledge, expertise and vision Andrew brings to the role here

Mental Health Programme Management Group (MHPGM)

Stephanie Correia of Southside Rehabilitation Association and Joan Baxterof WPF Therapy are the CAS respresentatives on the MHPMG (previously the Mental Health Partnership Board). As CAS’s representatives, Stephanie and Joan are the voice of the local sector on issues relating to mental health services provision in Southwark and report to and from Southwark Council strategic meeting, the MHPMG. Older People’s Partnership Board (OPPB)

Dominic Pinto is the CAS respresentative on the OPPB. As CAS’s representative, Dominic is the voice of the local sector on issues relating to older people’s services provision in Southwark and report to and from Southwark Council strategic meeting, the OPPB and the Adults subgroup.
