In order to further support you during this Coronavirus outbreak, we have put together some key messages and advice from Funders and sector bodies. 

With the constantly changing situation around the Coronavirus pandemic, we continue to liaise with relevant funders in London regarding their position and response to concerns that grantees may have.

Some key funding Covid-19 updates:


The London Community Response Fund - Wave 1

The London Community Response Fund is now open for applications; it's been launched by United St Saviour’s and a group of local funders. This is to support VCS organisations providing food and other essentials to vulnerable Londoners during covid-19. Grants are available for up to £5,000.


The Charities Foundation 

The Charities Aid Foundation has launched funding for grants of up to £10,00 for core costs, staffing, volunteer costs, supplies, equipment, communications or other critical charitable areas working on the Covid-19 response.


Sports England Fund Covid-19 Emergeny Fund

Sport England is making up to £195 million of funding available to help the sport and physical activity sector through the ongoing coronavirus (Covid-19) crisis. You can see the full information here.


CAF Coronavirus Emergency Fund

CAF has launched this rapid response Fund to support smaller charitable organisations affected by the impact of Covid-19 and to help deal with the national crisis.


The Childhood Trust: Champions for Children funding campaign

The Childhood Trust is launching the Champions for Children match-funding campaign to raise unrestricted Funds for charities working with children whose lives have been impacted by the pandemic.


Arts Council England Emergency Funding Programme

The Arts Council Lottery Programme has put together a package of measures and funding to ensure that people and organisations that make up the Arts are protected during the Coronavirus crisis. The Funder is making available £160 million of emergency grant funding and it has also changed the funding requirements for existing funding recipients. Click here for more information.


The Coronavirus Charity Help Fund Application

The Coronavirus Charity Help Fund has been set up by Martin Lewis to help those affected by the coronavirus. Small or local charities are able to apply to receive a grant of £5-20K for specific coronavirus poverty relief projects. You can apply for the fund here.


Facebook Small Business Grants Program

The social media and networking service is launching a Small Business Grants Program to help those businesses experiencing disruptions resulting from the global outbreak of the coronavirus.
