Would you like to improve the health and wellbeing of your staff, volunteers and your working environment?
The Healthy Workplace development Programme and Funding is designed to help you do just this.
The Programme & Funding
Join us for a series of 5 FREE half day workshops looking at:
Good practice in valuing and recognising the contribution of your staff and volunteers
Effective management systems, performance management, appraisal systems
Dealing with emotions, promoting mental health and wellbeing, dealing with and understanding stress
The working environment and health & safety
How to write your application, focusing on the outcomes you want to achieve and how you will evaluate these
These workshops will include presentations and good practice advice from experts in this field; as well as time for discussion and facilitated sessions on how to apply good practice or improve your own situation.
Following the five workshops there will be the opportunity to apply for a small amount of funding (around £500 -750 per organisation) to pay for an activity/equipment/training or professional support, which you can clearly show will improve the health and wellbeing of your organisation.
There are 12 places available on the programme for voluntary and community sector organisations based in Southwark.
This programme is being funded by Southwark Public Health Team.
You must be able to participate in all five workshops (mixture of half & full day) in order to be eligible to apply for any funding.
It is important that the person attending is a decision maker in the organisation, able to consult staff and volunteers on their views and implement the activities decided upon.
Please note: priority will be given to organisations that have not already benefitted from the Healthy Workplace Development Programme.
An evaluation event will be organised once all funded activities have been completed
