Newcomen Collett Foundation

These two educational foundations founded by Elizabeth Newcomen in 1685 and John Collett in 1711 were amalgamated in 1988.

The present Foundation provides support for a wide variety of educational needs of young people who are under the age of 25  in the London Borough of Southwark.

  • The Foundation gives grants to schools and other groups who provide educational opportunities in the Borough of Southwark.
     
  • The Foundation gives grants to Southwark residents under 25 to pursue courses in arts, music, dancing etc, or who want to undertake tertiary education or apprenticeships.
