The community fundraising team at Battersea Dogs & Cats Home has expanded into London, so the Home is looking to welcome more incredible volunteers to join them!
They are reaching out to a new audience and hoping they can spread the Home’s work further and wider than ever before. However, since they receive no government funding for their work they rely solely on the amazing support of volunteers so that they can raise the vital funds that are necessary to continue providing veterinary treatment, care and find loving homes for over 7,000 cats and dogs that arrive at their gates each year at their three Battersea rescue centres in London, Brands Hatch and Windsor.
In London, they aim to raise £10,000 in collections this year! The new London and Hertfordshire regional fundraising team have now secured collection dates in the London area and would love to hear from any volunteers who would like to help them to collect spare change at multiple locations across the city as a Bucket Collection Volunteer. The opportunity to join them and be a part of a
friendly and passionate team committed to raising those all-important funds on behalf of the charity. London collections have already started and dates have been secured for Spring, summer, Autumn and Winter – so no time for paws!
The team also have plenty of other fundraising volunteer opportunities offering volunteers to help them to raise funds in other ways. Whether that is volunteering to collect spare change in locations across the city, starting your own fundraising group, or assisting the fundraising team to deliver office work, they appreciate that each of their volunteers ensure they can continue to find loving new homes for all their furry residents – so however much time you can offer, they believe at Battersea that they'll able to offer purr-fect volunteering role for you!
