Draper Together Charity is an exciting, new charitable organisation (an Association CIO with a wider membership) based on the Draper housing estate in Elephant and Castle, in the borough of Southwark, London SE1. The Draper Estate is a very diverse community with a wide range of age groups, cultural backgrounds and economic status, who live on a 50 year old, social housing estate which now has mixed residency; council tenants, private tenants, leaseholders and owned properties. The estate is one of the last of the post-war Brutalist housing schemes, in an area undergoing a £1.3 billion regeneration, a development called ‘Elephant Park.
