If you applied to the first round of the Young Londoners Fund but were unsuccessful, or if you wish to apply to the next round which opens in May 2019, this session will cover:
The context of the fund and the story so far - large, medium and small grants across London
What the funder is looking for:
- Youth involvement
- Project Development
- The application process
- Training needs identification
- Structured networking

Whatever stage or complexity your organisation is at, you can benefit from this process. In this session, you will:
- Work to a template to help clarify your product and service offer. This tool can support with internal resource allocation, application writing, and developing your communications and brand positioning
- Learn about cost recovery principles - the important difference between cost, price and value that will help you make the strongest case to funders to cover your true costs so that you can build your reserves and reinvest in your growth
Final 5 minutes: AOB and agenda setting.
At the session you will be invited to share information about your organisations' existing and desired projects in writing using our 'Picture the Pathway' interactive wall diagram and to add your listing to the GLA's service mapping tool.
