This is a voluntary Peer Mentor opportunity for women who have had involvement with the criminal justice system. On completion of training, you will receive an accredited qualification.
Role: EPIC Peer Mentor
Organisation: Women in Prison
Hours: 3-4 hours per week
EPIC – Enabling Positive Individual Change – is a peer mentoring scheme provided to women within the boroughs of Lambeth, Southwark, Lewisham and Croydon. Working within an innovative women’s service, Peer Mentors provide support to women residing in the above mentioned boroughs who are currently involved or at risk of becoming involved with the criminal justice system.
Can you be an EPIC Peer Mentor?
Yes, if you would like your own experiences to have a positive impact on empowering women currently involved in the criminal justice system, can commit to a training programme and live in the borough of Lambeth, Southwark, Lewisham or Croydon. You do not need any previous experience of volunteering.
