Have You Say – South Eastern Railway Consultation

The Department of Transport has launched a public consultation regarding South Eastern Rail Franchise. One of the suggestions in the consultation is that train services on the North Kent, Greenwich and Bexleyheath lines would be redirected to Cannon Street only. This would have an impact on direct trains to Denmark Hill.

King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is submitting a formal response arguing that any proposal that removes direct services to Denmark Hill will have a serious and negative impact on staff and patients.

If this proposal affects you directly you might want to consider submitting your own views either using the online response form or emailing: BetterSouthEastern@dft.gsi.gov.uk.

Despite the Pre-Election Period, the Department of Transport has not extended the length of the consultation, which ends on May 23 2017.
