This full day course is ideal for anybody working in the voluntary and community sector (including social enterprises) looking to improve their confidence when dealing with finances. 

We will explore the key components of good financial management, including the role of financial controls; budgets; cash flow; management accounts and balance sheets.

•   Is involved with the finances for the organisation
•   Is new to finance
•   Is starting up an organisation

Training Outcomes

On completion of this Fiance  Made Easy workshop participants will be able to:

  • identify the financial comntrols organisations require

  • understand how to put togwther a budget

  • identify how to forecast cash flow

  • understand what goes in your management accounts

Cost

Free to Community Southwark members.

A £25 fee will be charged to any participant who does not turn up and do not cancel their place at least 2 working days before the session.

Lunch is not provided for this course. Ideally, if you could bring lunch with you that would be great. Otherwise there is a café next to Cambridge House, or we can provide you with directions to other local cafes and supermarkets nearby.
