Please join us for our next Volunteer Management Network "Special Edition" - Career Development.

This session will be dedicated to the career development of a Volunteer Coordinator.

How do you take the next step up?

We will have key speakers, who started their careers in Volunteer Management, talking about their personal career journeys and giving advice and tips about learning and experience that will help you progress. There will be ample time given for you to chat to the speakers and also the opportunity to think about what you need to do to continue your career journey.

Speakers for the session are:

Chris Freed, Head of Volunteering, Citizens Advice Bureau

Petula Storey, Head of Volunteering, Kings College Hospital

Truly Johnston, Director of Social Action, Community Southwark

Karen Chillman, Head of Volunteering, Volunteer Centre Croydon (talking about the ILM)

The session has been designed for you to think about where you are now and where you would like to be in your career and then use the information and advice to make some plans about experience and training you may need to gain to do so.
