Consultation on Southwark's Council for Voluntary Service (CVS)

As you may be aware, Southwark Council funds Community Southwark to provide services that support the voluntary and community sector (VCS) and volunteering in the borough. It has an important strategic role as the umbrella body  (“Council for Voluntary Service” or CVS) for the VCS, as well in supporting volunteering and social action in the borough to help:

“Support a sustainable, confident and resourceful voluntary and community sector that can work alongside the public and private sector to deliver the best outcomes for Southwark residents.” - Southwark’s Voluntary & Community Sector Strategy, 2017 – 2022

The current contract ends in March 2019 and as part of developing a new service Southwark Council want to hear from the local VCS about your current and future needs, so please complete the brief consultation document via this link.

Please also forward this consultation to any other VCS organisations or networks who might also have an opinion on this service.

The consultation closes on Monday 17 October 2018.
