A new “Common Purpose” grants programme for local voluntary and community sector (VCS) organisations will be launched by Southwark Council on Monday 24 September for 2019-20 onwards.
It has three parts:
- 4 year strategic partner grants
- 2 year community engagement grants
- 1 year new ideas grants
This “Common Purpose” grants programme will focus on achieving specific outcomes for residents which are set out in the Common Outcomes Framework. Applicants will be asked to select outcomes taken from the framework that their service will help deliver and the indicators that will be used to measure progress. Successful organisations can decide their own delivery methods, as long as they can demonstrate delivery against the agreed outcomes. Common Purpose grant application forms and guidance will be uploaded here on 24 September.
The deadline for applications will be 5pm on 29 October 2018.
The council and Community Southwark will be holding two information sessions about these new grants. See below for more information
