Community Southwark are delighted to announce that we are opening nominations for our Southwark Stars Volunteer Award scheme 2018! Following on from the success of last year's Southwark Stars Awards we are very excited that Tate Exchange will once again be the venue for the awards ceremony.
How to nominate?
Nominating for the 100 hour certificate:
We will be awarding '100 Hours Southwark Star' certificates - this is a recognition award which all volunteers who have contributed 100 or more hours with an organisation in the past year are eligible for. You can nominate up to two volunteers per organisation for the 100 Hours certificate by downloading a nomination form. Spaces for this category are limited and will be awarded on a first come, first served basis. Due to space restrictions, we may have to close nominations for this category early if necessary. Download and complete the application form below:

- Best Corporate Partnership of the Year
- Trustee of the Year
- Award for Positive Contribution to Wellbeing
- Keib Thomas Active Citizen of the year
- Young Volunteer of the Year

You can download an application form for these ten individual categories and find out about the eligibility criteria below. Organisations can nominate themselves for these awards as well as their volunteers, but for no more than two categories. Southwark Stars gives us the opportunity to celebrate those who take the time to volunteer to support others thus helping to make Southwark a better place. In addition to the Southwark Stars Awards event this year, we are going to continue the celebration by displaying posters of nominees and winners, and their stories, at the Tate Exchange space for the weekend following the event. So your nomination might not only result in a special award for a valued volunteer but also their story being shared and celebrated with hundreds of visitors to the Tate!
The Awards Ceremony will be held on Friday 16 November from 6pm to which successful nominees and a designated number of organisation and family representatives will be invited to.
